Allocation is the plan that compounds. Austin's model: Foundation (VTI) 60%, Individual stocks (FAANG + MT) 20%, Swing trades (short squeeze stocks) 10%, Options (call options) 5%, Cash (buying power) 5%. Total 100%.

The foundation is the point. Sixty percent in a broad foundation means most of your money is not riding on any single idea. The smaller sleeves are where you take shots — sized so a bad one cannot end you.

Cash is a position too. Five percent buying power means you can act when the setup actually shows up, instead of watching it from the sidelines.
