Strat Combos
Numbered sequences that repeat — reversals and continuations
The teaching
Strat combos are numbered candle sequences that repeat across charts. Reversals: 2-1-2, 2-2, 3-2-2, 3-1-2 (Chicago), 1-2-2 RevStrat, 3-2 (start with these on the 30-minute and 60-minute charts), 1 Bar RevStrat, and 2-2-2 Randy Jackson. Continuations: 2-1-2 (Measured Move) and 2-2.
The rules never change: take out the highs, enter long, take out the lows — and trade in the direction of full timeframe continuity. The highest probability trades happen with full timeframe continuity behind them.
The original infographic is credited to @RobinTheBlack. It also shows what losing trades look like versus winning trades — the difference is almost always continuity and location, not the combo itself.
